President

The President presides at all meetings of the Board of Directors. They see that orders and resolutions of the Board are carried out. Sign all leases, mortgages, deeds and other written instruments and shall co-sign all checks and promissory notes.

The Vice President acts in the place and stead of the President in the event of their absence, inability or refusal to act, and exercises and discharges such other duties as may be required of them by the Board

Treasurer

The Treasurer receives and deposits all monies of the Association and disperses such funds as directed by the Board of Directors. They sign all checks and promissory notes of the Association, keep proper books of account, cause an annual audit of the Association books to be made at the completion of each fiscal year, and prepare an annual budget and a statement of income and expenditures.

Secretary

The Secretary records votes and keeps the minutes of all meetings and proceedings of the Board and of the members. They serve notices of meetings of the Board and the members, keep appropriate current record showing the members of the Association together with their addresses, and perform such other duties as required by the Board.

Community Overview

The Stonehedge Homes Association is located in Overland Park, KS. It is a classic late-1970s suburban community, where the spirit of the American Dream is embodied in practical, comfortable design. The neighborhood feels familiar and established, with a warm, inviting charm that evokes a simpler time. The landscaping is well-maintained but not overly manicured, featuring mature trees and neatly trimmed hedges.

Community Events

We organize various events throughout the year, including neighborhood clean-ups, all-HOA garage sales, and at least one meeting of the members per year (Annual Meeting). We encourage interaction between members to strengthen community bonds.

Stonehedge is centrally located between three public elementary schools: Apache, Comanche, and Pawnee. Shawnee Mission West High School is a short 5 minute commute. There is also a Johnson County Community College satellite campus a block away.
